Judging and prizes

We are looking for:

  • Creative, engaging, and exciting photos that showcase the many ways to travel in our region.
  • High-resolution images (most smartphones can capture an acceptable resolution, so long as you don’t zoom in!).
  • Photos captured by a human (no AI generated images).

Subjects might include:

  • Walking or biking.
  • Roads.
  • Bridges.
  • Trains or busses.
  • Railroads.
  • Aviation.
  • Delivery trucks or train cargo.
  • Local landmarks.
  • Feel free to look through the current regional transportation plan to see what kinds of images did well before!

Ten winners will be chosen by DRCOG staff. These winners will be featured in the 2050 Metro Vision Regional Transportation Plan to be released in 2026. We will contact you via email if your photo has been chosen, and the winners will also be announced on our social media accounts.

Winners will receive:

  • Photographer promotion on DRCOG’s social media accounts.
  • Their photo showcased in the Regional Transportation Plan
