Project overview

The Denver Regional Council of Governments is leading the North Federal Community Transportation Study in partnership with Adams County, City of Westminster, and Growing Home. The study's goal is to assess preferred mobility solutions for residents who are unable to or have difficulty accessing essential services in the study area due to transportation barriers.

This study is part of DRCOG's Community Based Transportation Planning Program. It was selected because it identifies specific mobility needs for historically marginalized communities and seeks to develop community-informed solutions.

This study goals are:

  • Assess market demand for different transportation services in the study area.
  • Evaluate service options that accommodate various trip purposes, such as local trips and first/last mile trips to transit stops.
  • Provide a preferred model for transportation services.
