Project Overview

The Denver Regional Council of Governments will update the regional Active Transportation Plan in 2024 and 2025, which establishes a common vision for bicycling and walking in the region and provide tools and guidance for local agencies to implement projects in their jurisdictions. Active transportation includes all the movement of people and goods using non-motorized, human-powered mobility, such as bicycling, walking, scootering, or skating, and is a critical part of meeting the region's mobility, safety, and air quality goals.

The Denver Regional Active Transportation Plan was last updated in 2019.
